Wednesday, March 3, 2021 IWU University held a Workshop on Making a Home Security System (Physics Study Program).
The workshop participants totaled about 62 participants, consisting of IWU students and lecturers.
The objectives of this workshop are as follows, namely: Providing insight to the audience regarding residential security systems that are often used today, many are integrated with smartphone devices with the Android operating system.
Attended by Herman Suwandi, S.Pd., M.Kom. as a speaker at this workshop.
The material presented was also based on what is currently happening, namely the impact of the global Covid'19 pandemic which resulted in several unfortunate and immediate problems for the community, namely in the form of economic instability, one of which was the criminal act of theft of homes and offices. Thus the topic discussed in this workshop is about security systems that are widely used today using the Internet of Things (IoT) which can be described about how to connect smartphones with security or lighting systems to the internet where devices are connected together which allows new forms of communication.
